Did you know that Disney World in Orlando, Florida (actual Lake Buena Vista) has a campground?  It has camping spots you can reserve or cabins.  Now if you are reserving a cabin and are going to be renting a mobility scooter then it is important to ask for a cabin that has a ramp rather than steps up to it so you may ride it into your cabin each night for charging.  The campground is quite large and while it is on the outskirts of Magic Kingdom property, even getting to the bus stop is quite a distance so having a mobility scooter at your disposal means you can easily get to the buses (and ride right on to them) for transport to the theme parks or one of the many activities that take place within the campground itself.

There is also the Wilderness Lodge which is a great resort property.  Like all resorts it is quite large and so having your mobility scooter waiting for you when you arrive will be very helpful during your entire stay.

Mobility scooter rentals (electronic convenience vehicle, ECV, electric wheelchair)  can be delivered in advance of your arrival and picked up after you check out.  They begin at $25 per day and include free delivery and pick up with 3 days rental or more.  They also can easily fold-up or disassemble for transportation in a car or taxi if you decide to not use Disney transportation and/or go off property.
