There are so many great events coming up at Disney World between September through to January and since the weather becomes the best in the country, it is the time for mobility scooter users to head to the parks. This makes this time of year the busiest for those who rent a scooter in Orlando for their visit.
The special holiday parties that many come for each year are Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween, EPCOTs Candlelight Processional, and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas. But, of course, that’s not all. One of the favorite fall events is the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival. All these great happenings make each year a sell out for Orlando scooter rentals.
Here are a few tips:
- Plan for and reserve your scooter early to make sure you get the model you want.
- MAKE SURE you get a scooter with enough battery power to last a full day. You will use more battery power than normal when it is busy. Just like your car, when in stop and go traffic you get less gas mileage than when able to travel at full speed. Same with your scooter. When there are large crowds you are going to use your battery power up even quicker.
- Use a fast charger. The standard chargers that come with scooters are slow. You may not have 10-12 hours in your room in between park days to spend charging your scooter. And if the charger is one of these slow, standard chargers, trying to top off while inside the park will be just as frustrating.
- Check the service hours from the scooter rental companies. Disney is open late during these busy times and if the scooter company closes before the parks do, who you gonna call if you have a question or issue?
The fall events is a great time to visit and particularly is you are renting a scooter. Kick back, relax and enjoy the ride and all the great food and entertainment. All you need to do is remember to book your scooter early so you get the best ride for you!
