When I injured my ankle before our extended trip to Disneyworld, I thought our trip was off -- but then my husband had the idea of renting a scooter. I found referrals for your site on a Disneyworld fan board. After renting a scooter for the trip, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The batteries never ran out, (I charged nightly and anytime we went back to our room), the seat was comfy for me, (and I am super-plus sized at over 350 lbs.), the scooter was easy to break down and put into our trunk, it fit on all of the inter-park Disney transportation and the one time we had a problem, it was immediately resolved by phone, (I had somehow disconnected the battery, but phone support new just what was wrong and directed us on how to fix the problem). It\'s two years later and I just booked three scooters, for members of my party with injuries that do not allow extensive walking. We\'re coming to Disneyworld for ELEVEN days -- but thanks to your product, I know we will ALL be able to enjoy the parks -- without concerns about the grueling pace being too much for the older members of our group. Without a doubt- rent from Scooter Vacations! Their equipment is top quality and so is their staff. The scooters were waiting for me upon arrival at both of my hotels and if you have any trouble, just call and they solved my problem over the phone (both times). They do not want your vacation interrupted by inconvenience.

I rented the small scooter when I was by myself. It fits nicely in the back of a Ford Taurus, which I rented and I got it in and out by myself. When my family arrived and we went to Disney, they delivered the "Dream" and the gentleman helping me said if I felt it was too big, just let them know and they would come and change it out. I was glad I got the smaller one when I was on my own and the larger one when we were in the parks. This is a top notch company and they know how to treat their customers. I couldn't have been more pleased with my 2 rentals. It sure made my life easier in a lot of ways

We planned our dream trip to Disney. A few weeks before we were to arrive i hurt my knee and was gonna need surgery. I had the surgery date set for after we would be back from vacation. But i didn't know how i was going to get around the two days at Disney and a day at Universal Studios that we had planned.

We rented a private home about 10 miles from Disney. I checked with Disney about a scooter and they were $50 a day and they told me i had better get there early because they are limited and would be gone fast. So i googled it and found lots of other scooter rentals in the area.

After checking them all out i chose you guys. It turned out to be the best decision i made the whole trip.

I rented the Diplomat with a optional canopy. They told me it would be delivered Monday morning at 8am. I figured it would be late getting there and i might get to the park by 10am. The guy pulled up at 7:58 am, showed me how to use it, helped me load it into our suv and we were at the park before 9am.

I rode that scooter all over Disney from 9am to 11pm and it still had a full charge on it. So i didn't charge it that night. I just left it in the Blazer. Next day i rode it all over Disney's Hollywood Studios until the park closed and it ran great and was still half charged. Charged it that night and it ran all day at Universal with a full charge on it at closing time.

It had two speeds. Low was the perfect walking speed and on high i was zippin past everybody including all the other scooters. The canopy saved me from sun burn.

Everybody in our group of 11 other than myself, said it was so easy to find the main group because all they had to look for was the canopy which because of it's shape was easy to find. It came in a nap sack that was straped to the back of the seat. With the canopy up the nap sack was empty.

It had 3 zippered compartments. My wife kept her pocket book and other things in there completly out of site. There was supposed to be a basket behind the seat, but becuse the canopy nap sack was there the scooter came with a basket on the front. Nobody in our group had to tote anything. I had it all, water bottles, souviner bags, pocket books. Everybody was glad i had that scooter.

The swivel seat made it extra easy to get in and out of. The arm rest moved back and forth which made it very comfortable. I could go on for days about it. My wife and i were looking at some pictures after we returned home and she asked me what i missed most and i said, the scooter, really, i'm not kiddin.

The scooter, the service, it's all good, no, it was great.....Thanks Guys.

Sometimes you read these letters and think yeah right but I am writing in because when I used scooter vacations I received excellent service.

I live in the UK and we had decided to take my little one to Disney World. I knew this would involve a lot of walking and due to a neck back injury this would be hard for me.

I looked up scooter rentals on the internet and after making some comparisons I chose Scooter vacations. I got a nice email and invoice from them that stated they would not charge me the full amount until they delivered the scooter and that I could cancel if needed.

All very professional and nice.

I had told them that they could deliver the scooter to the address where I was staying at 7pm. Now this is where their exceptional service starts, I was delayed getting into Orlando and wasn't even out of the airport at 7pm.

Once my phone connected to the US network I received a call from the company saying that they had tried to deliver the scooter but no one was there, I explained that I had been delayed. Their response was "that's OK we'll deliver it tomorrow morning for you".

They didn't say that will cost you more or sound cross at all. They didn't charge me anymore either. And when on the day they were due to collect the scooter I called them to say "can I rent it for one more day" they were fine and just said yes no problem we'll just call our driver and tell him not to drop by.

That's what I call customer service, something we could do with in England. Also the scooter was great and worked very well, it was easy to take apart and took my weight with no problems.

Great company, great staff and great service and I would highly recommend them.

I have rented two years from this company and each time they were on time in picking up and bringing it right to my hotel. I am 84 yrs old and would be unable to do the parks or flee markets etc. They fit into the trunks of our rented cars compact included.

We just wanted to let you know what a wonderful experience we had with your "Dream Scooter" on our Vacation at Walt Disney World.

It was truly a Dream come true for our little grandson who rode on it with his grandpa. My husband, who is recovering from hip surgery, would never have made it walking all through the parks.

We did the Florida Resident 4 parks for $99, for my grandsons 4th birthday, what a treat!

The scooter was so easy to maneuver, plenty of storage, fit on the monorail and buses, on the elevators and everywhere we had to go. The battery life was never a problem. The light on the front worked out great in the park at night, the horn and the two speeds were a nice features. Plus, we had sooo many complements on the "Harley" as people would call it, saying to my husband that he couldn't speed in the park, or tell him he could only go 35 in that area, what a hoot!

Most people, and park employees had not ever seen this scooter before, of course, we hope that you get more sales from our visit, because, we told everyone who asked, where to go to get it! This was sooo worth the added expense.

For a few dollars more than your other models, this is the way to go. You sit up high enough to see everything and the wide seat with headrest and armrest that moved up and down were all very comfortable!

We couldn't be more pleased!

We had NO problems and just had a wonderful, wonderful experience with your product.

We would definitely recommend your Dream Scooter to everyone!

Your scooter company made our first family vacation in years one to truely remember!

My dad who is 78 with serious heart problems and breathing problems was hesitant about traveling to disney with us cause he can not walk for more than 5 minutes at a time, I however spent days researching scooter rentals and found what II hoped for in your ads. Thank god I did because when we arrived at our resort it was bigger than theme park, he could never had enjoyed it there never mind the parks with out his handy dandy scooter!

Service was way above my expectations: it was at resort when promised and when we did have a problem at Epcot within an hour of calling a brand new scooter was delivered not to the front gate but to the back of the park where we were!

Your company gave us all a wonderful care free vacation not having to worry about dad's health and hopefully we will return next year and you will be my first to book on my list!

Your customer service was far above my expectations with the quick delivery of another scooter on Sunday morning and then later in the week of swapping out the larger scooter for a smaller one that I could get in the back of my SUV. Both times arriving at Shades of Green within an hour.

The dream scooter was there when promised and even though it was a one-day rental, it saved the day for me! I have in the past rented on site scooters and wished I hadn't as they weren't comfortable at all.

The dream was like riding a Cadillac compared to those other scooters. Also received many comments from passer by-ers as to it's size and obvious comfort. I will most definitely rent the dream again.

I would absolutely recommend your company for a scooter rental when vacationing in Orlando at Disney World.

When I first called for information the gentleman who answered was patient and informative. I was guided to rent a scooter that more than satisfied my expectations based on my need. It was delivered on time and picked up when I left. That little scooter was the reason I could enjoy my vacation totally! Even when I first used the scooter and had a question, I was able to talk to my consultant immediately and got the answer I needed.

The scooter (the Diplomat SUV) ran perfectly for 14 hours a day, had great pick-up and was easy to use. Customer service and quality product mean so much today. You were certainly a pleasure to do business with! Thank you again!

I WANT YOU PEOPLE TO KNOW THAT MY 1ST XMAS VISIT TO WALT DISNEY WORLD AND MY 50TH TIME DOWN THERE WOULD NOT HAVE PROBABLY BEEN A LOT OF FUN IF I HAD NOT RENTED MY SCOOTER FROM YOU WONERFUL PEOPLE. I DID A LOT OF CHECKING BEFORE I DECIDED TO USE YOUR COMPANY.

I checked with different people about just how good you people are in taking care of everything from billing, to delivery of scooter to hotel, explaining how to break down scooter and put in my van and how easy it was to put back together when I got to the parks.

Your customer service was triple A in service.

I arrived two days early to the Hilton hotel on Disney property by the shopping village. I called you people and asked if I could get my scooter a day early. They told me no problem and would have my scooter delivered to the hotel first thing in the morning, which you people did by 0800. Your service man was very nice and was not in any rush and wanted to make sure I knew how to take it apart and put it back together. They told me if I have a problem to call them and they would be right out, no matter what park you were in or where you were on Disney property or out side. I did not need them for my scooter at any time. I did call the night before I was leaving and asked them if I could rent the scooter for another three days, no problem just leave scooter with people in hotel when you leave and they will pick it up, which I did.

I have breathing problem and I needed a scooter for me that was easy to take apart and put back together without too much of a problem. I am a big person. They fit me up with scooter that would do everything for me. I was very happy with the scooter I got and the great customer service. They made my 50th trip to Walt Disney a very nice and relaxing time without having to worry if i had a problem of any kind.

I would tell you right now I can see why they are NO. 1 in customer service. I will be renting from them again next year when I make my 51st trip back down during the flower festival in April.

Thank you for everything and keep doing that great job you do from making the reservation to delivery to hotel and taking the time to make sure I under stood all about my scooter to taking it apart to putting i back together and just leaving it at hotel for them to pick up when I left.

I am writing to let you know that my use of the Dream scooter surpassed all my expectations during my 11 day vacation this past September. I've had to use scooters from other companies before, due to back injuries and they do not compare to this last experience.

The Dream was extremely comfortable, easy to navigate, and definetely a showstopper! I must have been stopped and asked anywhere from 5-15 times a day, each day of my vacation, about where to get the scooter and the rental prices. Next trip I should ask you to include some business cards to give out! (Maybe I can get a discount for referrals!!) I'm sure I sent you many new customers as your number was given to at least 30 people during my stay! Most were quite envious! lol

I've always been a little embarrassed when using a scooter as some ppl are rude and stare and make comments, but the Dream was actually "cool". I was quite amused at many ppl referring to it as a "Harley" scooter. That actually became my nickname for it for the duration of the vacation.

Anyway, I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you all for offering this great scooter, and to thank you, Wendy, in particular, for your help. I will definitely be using your services again soon, as I am planning a short trip to WDW next month and will need to get around.

My dad really loved the [Dream] scooter and I appreciate the service. It made our trip delightful. He is a big man and was very comfortable and could keep up with our family when we toured the park. This was much nicer than pushing him around in a wheelchair. He raved to everyone about how nice and comfortable it was, and how easy it was to us. We come to Disney every year and we will definitely be using your company again next time!

We got many compliments on the scooter and every time we did we were sure to recommend Scooter Vacations and tell everyone what an excellent company it is. We had no trouble getting it on and off the resort buses. One driver did tell us it wouldn't fit and he would call us another bus, but I think this was due to the fact that he just didn't want to load it! We got on the very next bus which was the same type with no problems at all. It was easy to fit into the room and charge at night. It really increased my dad's mobility. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience and enhancing our vacation with The Dream scooter!

My husband, Scott, took his VERY FIRST VACATION BY HIMSELF SINCE HE LOST HIS RIGHT LEG ABOVE THE KNEE IN 9/11. This was HUGE for him. Our daughter is going to school in Tampa and was coming over to Orlando to be with him. He was in the middle of a deep depression and hadn't been away by himself since that fateful day.

Unfortunately, Scott's scooter broke down in Orlando so I went searching for a company to rent one from and the one I called first seemed wonderful when I called and confirmed they would be able to get him a scooter first thing in the morning and advised they would call me back with all the delivery details. WHAT A RELIEF, UNTIL…they called back AFTER 5:00 PM SAYING SORRY WE WON'T BE ABLE TO HELP, BUT sent us TO ANOTHER COMPANY "THEY USE ALL THE TIME". I called that company ASAP-- (it was after 5 pm now) and even though it was after hours and he was closed, the gentlemen answered the phone while driving home -- heard my problem about the first company and being referred to them and was assured DELIVERY to the hotel by 9AM the next morning and even offered to help my husband get his broken scooter back to the airport for his departure when they picked the rental back up. How NICE I thought! WOW.

Next morning at 9:30 am I get a phone call from my husband who had been waiting in the lobby for a half an hour and NO SCOOTER-- thinking they were only running late, I gave them a call and was told "SORRY, SOMEONE CALLED OUT SICK TODAY AND WE CAN'T DO IT!

Scott was depressed and ready to just come home and our whole family was devastated for him and FURIOUS at the scooter rental industries lack of professionalism and commitment to the handicap community in Orlando.

I just had to find something for Scott. This just couldn't be happening to a guy who did what he did to save others. Then I found you, MY ANGELS, Scooter Vacations, who deserve to be recognized for what you did! Your staff went out of their way to help out a disabled hero at the last minute plus have something no other scooter company has in a scooter type that just might make a handicap person feel alive and special. You adjusted your delivery schedule and got a scooter to my husband within 45 minutes! And what a scooter it was! For my husband who also lost his brand new Harley Davidson Motorcycle on 9/11 in the wreckage, the scooter they got to him fulfilled his wildest dreams! It looks like a Harley [The Dream Model]. He said for once he didn't feel like people were staring at his missing leg but rather at his great looking scooter! His spirits soared for the FIRST TIME since 9/11.

If your interested I will complete Scott's story... He wasn't a fireman, or a worker in an office, but a union carpenter who was nearby on a job site and saw both planes hit each of the towers. He and two of his co-workers, one was his best friend since elementary school days, heard the emergency calls and one of them was for a woman in a wheelchair that was trapped and since my husband stopped every morning to get his cup of coffee from a woman who worked there and was in a wheelchair, Marie, they just knew it was her and went in to get her out which they did. The last thing my husband remembers is following his two friends going back into the building to help others and then waking up in a hospital 2 months later, with a leg amputated. He and his friends re-entered the building when it fell. He ended up UNDER 8 FEET of metal and concrete, it took them 8 hours to find him and get him out. They couldn't pull him out because his leg was lodged under a steel beam. But worst of all he lost his best friend and 10 other union members. He has been through years of rehab, survivors remorse, and going from an extremely independent person, to having to rely on others and his best friend for life gone.

His Orlando vacation, because of the Dream scooter, lifted his spirits, made him feel independent again, like he was on his Harley, and now he wants a Dream to use at home!
